Root causes of brain inflammation tap to collapse

Infection induced

Mechanism: Immune activation, cytokine surge, microglial overdrive
Examples: Flu, COVID, pneumonia, meningitis
Note: Secondary neuroinflammation can follow the acute illness
Inflammation

Autoimmune and molecular mimicry

Mechanism: Antibodies cross react with neural tissue
Examples: Post viral autoimmune encephalitis
Note: Can manifest as confusion, brain fog
Autoimmune

Toxic and metabolic

Mechanism: Oxidative stress, mitochondrial strain
Examples: Heavy metals, mycotoxins, ammonia
Note: Detox and antioxidant support often indicated
Detox

Vascular and barrier breakdown

Mechanism: Leaky endothelium, barrier permeability
Examples: Hypertension, trauma
Note: Tight junction support and microvascular tone
BBB repairCirculatory

Oxygen deficiency

Mechanism: Hypoxia, ROS rise, ATP drop
Examples: Pneumonia, anemia
Note: Neurons are highly oxygen sensitive
Oxygenation

Gut brain axis

Mechanism: Endotoxin leakage raises cytokines
Examples: Dysbiosis, barrier compromise
Note: Microbiome balance can calm systemic signals

Personal Case Study: Formula Effects & ProgressTracking tap to collapse

Why This Formula Works (Tulsi + Jiaogulan + Ginkgo + Witch Hazel + Boswellia)

This combination targets the three major drivers of nerve dysfunction and limb weakness: microvascular instability, neuroinflammation, and impaired mitochondrial signalling.

Key Mechanisms

  • Improved Microcirculation (Ginkgo + Jiaogulan)
Enhances nitric oxide signalling, increases oxygen delivery, restores nerve perfusion.
  • Mitochondrial Recovery (Jiaogulan)
Improves ATP output, enabling stronger nerve firing and muscle recruitment.
  • Reduced Neuroinflammation (Tulsi + Boswellia)
    Down-regulates TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β, reducing pressure around nerves.
  • Vascular Stabilisation (Witch Hazel)
Strengthens vein and capillary tone, reducing microvascular pooling.
  • Deep Anti-inflammatory Action (Boswellia)
Moderates 5-LOX and leukotriene pathways affecting joints and neural tissue.

Why Effects Can Be Rapid

The blend simultaneously improves oxygen delivery, reduces inflammatory pressure, restores nerve energy metabolism and stabilises capillary flow. This can rapidly improve mobility, pain thresholds and strength patterns.

Potential Relevance to Related Cases

The mechanism overlaps strongly with post-viral neurovascular dysregulation, microglial activation, and BBB instability. This formula may support stabilisation in similar patterns.

Weekly Summary

Trial Start date 09/11/2025.

14/11/2025 -Slight changes to 3/5 muscle weakness in left knee. Lessened pain in left ankle(possible vein related) Small decrease in elevate heart rate reduced by 3-4 beats per minute. Incidental side affect (Increased energy and caloric burning)

16/11/2025 -  Definite increase in mobility. Nerve misfire of Hamstring appears to have resolved. I have full range of motion, will have many months rebuilding wasted muscle(2 Years of no movement) Heart rate trend remaining at the lower 3-4 beats.  Still questioning if this is a temporary reprieve. Also noticed i am losing weight, i think the boost to adrenal function and cortisol may be helping.

17/11/2025 -  Woke up with leg not working again it seems the benefits from the herbal combination is temporary. Today i will ashwagandga 2.5gm and increase witch hazel.
